  1. Hi welcome to our new website.  If this is your first visit I will give you a quick description on what we do and about us at Little Garendon.

I'm Rachael Fairbrother, I am lucky to have been bought up at Little Garendon which is owned by my parents John and Margaret Pitts who have lived here since 1977 which is a year before I was born, I will let you do the maths!!  Mum ran a very successful riding school when I was little with up to 22 horses and ponies at one point and she has taught literally hundreds of keen youngsters and not so young people to ride, including myself and Cherise who is my best friend and still an integral part of Little Garendon, Mum still helps keep everything looking smart and tidy and hers and Dads garden is amazing and looks fantastic all year round.  Dad worked as Chartered Surveyor for many years with Fisher German, he does a lot less now but is always busy doing jobs around home keeping up with all the work horses make breaking things!

We are a small yard with seven stables, we only ever take on as many horses as we feel we can do to the best of our ability, Mum describes us a 5* hotel for horses, we have 5 of our own horses so we have room for two schooling/holiday liveries.

Alongside the horse side of the business I also run a tack and rug repair service and make bespoke leather products, everything is hand made so anything can be personalised for you.

I will try my hardest to write a regular blog to keep you up to date with what we have been up to and what we are planning for the future.
