Leather Notebook Cover

Beautiful Italian leather notebook cover, this item is handcrafted from a very high quality vegetable tanned leather and lined with a butter soft British sheep Nappa skin. Over time this will develop a stunning patina which is something developed through everyday use, meaning over time it will soften and age naturally making every item individual.

This item made by myself in my workshop in Leicestershire entirely by hand, with not a machine  in sight. The item is cut out, the edges bevelled and shined and then finished with the traditional saddle stitch technique which known for its strength and durability, the saddle stitch is a stronger stitch than a machine can produce, making it both beautiful and durable.

The nature of hand making leather items is that they may possess irregularities this adds to the uniqueness of the items and adds character. Leather is a natural product, and there may be very minor imperfections in the surface and colour.
