We have had a very busy week, Archie has gone to his new home, I hadn't advertised him and wasn't planning to sell him at the moment but saw a post on #twittereventing looking for a horse which described him, so thought would post a video of him and thought no more about it but Stephanie e mailed me and said she would like to come and see him and that was that! He has a super home and got a lovely text today to say that he had settled in great and they had had a lovely first ride together today, I am sure they will have loads of fun and we all wish them the best of luck and look forward to watching them in the future.
I have spent the week at The Quorn Hunt Junior camp, it is brilliantly organised and has a really special feel about it, the ages range from 2-15yrs. I had a lovely group of 7-9yr olds, they all rode really well all week and tried really hard and was really pleased to see that they all went well at the ODE today, I feel like a proud mother especially as one of my ride won with the best dressage. I really enjoy teaching and to top off my great week got a lovely thank you card which one of the boys had written 10/10 thanks you're great! Already looking forward to next year.
Back at home Mum and Cherise have been running the yard, we have three horses with us on boot camp whilst their owners are on their hols, so lots to keep us busy . Had a fun time this morning we took Flo and George galloping, it was George's first time and he really began to get the hang of it and enjoyed himself, he may be in for a bit of a shock as has just been pootling about at home, where Cherise has been doing a fab job of improving him but with Archie gone he will have to step up a bit now and will be taking Archie's place at my dressage lesson with Steph Croxford on Sunday and show jumping lesson with Simon Nicholson on Monday!
