We have been busy over the last couple of week again, we took Lucy and Max to the Quorn Hunt Show Jumping at Vale View, Max was an absolute star jumping two clear rounds, he has really grown up and him and Cherise looked great, I have put a video of one their rounds below. Lucy was great she jumped really well right to the second last fence where everyone was leaning over the wall watching and she just couldn't concentrate on that and the fence and we had a run out when she saw the fence at the last moment but came straight round and jumped it great, so we came home really pleased with both horses.

We have had a really busy and fun week, we have got seven horses in the moment as we have Barney with us at the moment who is a 2year old Arab, he is hopefully going to race in 2015, we broke his half brother last year who went on to win his first race. He has been a star so far taking everything in his stride, he has just started long reining and having me lying across him, we find little and often is the way forward with the young horses so nothing is to stressful but with all training repetition is the best way, he is with us for another week before having a little break over Christmas then will be back in the new year. On Wednesday we went to Vale View for their BS show with George and Darcy. Darcy jumped really well in both the British Novice and Discovery but just had annoying pole in each which is frustrating as she jumps 99% of the course perfectly but considering her main job is Mums hunter and I just jump on her to compete her you have to give her some allowance, I am sure we will jump clear rounds in the future. George also had annoying fence in the first class I think I was just a bit to relaxed down to an upright and just touched it, he jumped really well in the Discovery, it wasn't the best jump off course as there were no corners to cut the only way to win was to gallop but that is not what I want to do so I just went for a nice double clear which was good enough for 6th meaning he has been placed at all three of his BS shows, clever boy!! I have put the video below of both his rounds We were out again on Thursday with Max and Lucy to Markfield. Cherise rode Max really well, this was only his second time in an indoor school and his second show, he was quite green but very genuine, he just touched a couple of poles the first time but was so much better the second time. It was Lucy's first show today, she has been to a few practices and been really bold but being at a show is a whole new ball game! she was very very green the first time round but got better as she went round and I stayed in the arena and went round straight away again HC and she was fab, just touching one pole, I was thrilled with her attitude, I have posted the video below and you can really see the difference in her from beginning to end. Last week we had out annual Christmas party, this is the second time I have done this, this year we were raising money for the Nicholls Spinal Foundation which is a great charity working towards a cure for paralysis and World Horse Welfare. We had a really successful night raising over £300 so a big thank you to everyone who came along to support and also the stall holders who bought along their lovely things,
